Nothing is more important than supporting employment for all, regardless of ability.

summer-youth-employmentNothing is more central to the Mobius philosophy of valued roles than supporting employment for all, regardless of ability. This program provides employment services to persons with disabilities through two components: Job Development and Work Supports. These two services work to assure long-term success for both the employer and the supported employees. Referrals to the program may come from any source,

however, acceptance is contingent on eligibility for either the Maine Department of Labor Division of Vocational Rehabilitation or the Maine Department of Health and Human Services Office of Adults with Cognitive and Physical Disabilities Services.
Job Development involves work with an individual to explore career interests and identification of prospective employers for participants. Once considered stable in an employment site, the service recipient may qualify for Long Term Supports, which may include ongoing job coaching, assistance with scheduling or job accommodations.

Summer Youth Program – remember your first summer job and making your own money for the first time? This program supports youth ages 14 – 21, with and without disabilities, to have that first experience. In partnership with the United Way of Midcoast Maine, we provide one-on-one job assessment and coaching at various worksites across Lincoln County. Referrals often come from the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and area high schools.
